After months making the decision, Carroll Township will begin using West Shore Ambulance as its primary first responder on Nov. 12. However, no contract will be signed.
A vote was taken with one dissenter, Kelly Moyer Schwille. The decision was approved with Andy Ritter reiterating what a hard decision it was to make, but in the end the board members said they felt they had no choice.

While rain postponed two matches last week, the Northern H.S. Girls tennis team was able to play two matches at week’s end. The Lady Polar Bears traveled to Central Dauphin H.S. Thursday and played a very solid team but lost.
“Despite the loss the girls played hard and should be commended for their effort,” said head coach Lee Wilson.
On Friday, Northern faced Gettysburg Area H.S. and made a strong showing winning at all five positions.
