A worker was rescued Friday morning after he fell while working inside an above-ground wastewater tank under construction at Roundtop Mountain Resort.

The man fell eight feet from scaffolding inside the 30-foot tall tank and landed on a concrete floor at 8:25 a.m. on July 21.

From inside, at the bottom of the 30-foot tall tank, emergency crews secure the injured construction worker in a basket before he is lifted out of the 100,000 gallon container.

Dillsburg's quest for Little League glory ends at states

Only eight Little League baseball teams in the state get to experience the excitement and mystique of being a stone's throw away from Williamsport. And this summer, Dillsburg had the privilege of being one of those teams.

So as hard as a pair of mercy-rule losses at the state tournament were for Brian Bonin's 11-12 International All-Stars - who overcame the odds to win a District 14 banner before going unbeaten in the Section 7 Tournament -- the team knows there are plenty of achievements and memories to be thankful for.

All three DYB teams advance in tournament

With all of Dillsburg Youth Baseball's State and International teams knocked out of the Little League postseason, the attention now shifts to DYB's Clarence Boyd Tournament teams.

So far, DYB's three CBT teams -- the 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 squads -- have been impressive, combining for a 10-1 record while outscoring the competition 120-45 in the process.
