Repairs on baseball field needed

Shirley A. Knight
Staff Reporter/Dillsburg Banner

Needed repairs to the baseball field requested at the March work session by the South Mountain Baseball organization total nearly $9,500.

The cost to replace aged fencing that can’t be repaired is $4,123.42. In addition the Diamond Tec materials needed to repair the pitcher’s mound and bases would be $5,360.42. These items were not in the budget for this year and the balance in the account for repairs is not sufficient to do all that is needed. Secretary Faye Romberger will check the budget funds available and the coach will be contacted before a decision is made as to how much of the repairs can be done. The item was tabled until the regular supervisors’ meeting.
