The 24th annual New Year’s Eve Pickle Drop is in the barrel.
“The weather was perfect,” commented Event Coordinator Deana Weaver. She gives that a lot of the credit for the throng of celebrators that showed up to enjoy the evening.
The early, child-friendly Pickle Drop festivities for 2016 were moved to Dillsburg Elementary School multi-purpose room and the new venue proved to be a dilly of a success.
The honor of dropping Mr. Pickle on New Year’s Eve in Dillsburg went to local photographer Curt Werner.

Supervisor Kevin Cummings will remain board chairman and David Sprigg remains as vice-chair. Mike Ryan will continue as liaison to the road crew and Naomi Decker will continue in that position with the administrative department.
Township Secretary Nancy Zentmeyer and Treasurer Pam Williams will both return to their positions as will Road Master Gary Ocker and road crew members Ron May and Bob King.
