After spending the past 19 months behind bars in York County Prison, Michael and Nanettte Craver, of Blair Mountain Road, were found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of endangering the welfare of children and conspiring to commit the offenses. However, they were found not guilty of first- and third-degree murder and conspiring to commit the offenses.

Standard minimum sentencing range for involuntary homicide is nine to 16 months in prison.
_---“They (the Commonwealth) didn’t say who committed the crime. They have no theory. They didn’t have any evidence of either one,” Gerald Lord said following the verdict. Lord represents Nanette Craver.
It will be “incredibly hard to build their lives,” Lord said. “They lost everything - their house, their jobs.”
